Who I am - and why I'm doing this
I'm Elisabeth N., born in 2006, founder of Eli's Maquillage—but before that, I was just someone with sensitive skin, brittle nails, and a pretty keen eye for things that don't work.
In my family, we often made our own skincare products—not because it was cool, but because we had to. I realized early on that many brand-name products didn't really help. Or they irritated the skin more than they cared for it.
I wanted to do better. And I wanted to know.
What really makes a difference? What's just an illusion?
I'm not a typical founder. And that's a good thing.
I launched my own product at 18 – in the middle of my high school graduation stress, playing cello in four orchestras, and with no investors at all.
But I had clear values. And I had the courage to question everything.
That's why my nail oil was not only lovingly developed but also professionally tested - by two independent laboratories:
the BAV Institute and the SGS Institute Fresenius.
The result?
- Very good dermatological tolerance
- Excellent microbiological stability
- Tested safety & durability
This is not just a care product.
This is something I stand behind as a human being.
I want to sell more than just a cosmetic product.
I want to show that care is responsibility.
That products can be honest.
That there is another way – transparent, tested, well thought out.
Eli's makeup is small, but it's growing.
And I grow with it.
